It would make no sense for my house, but I still love it.. Aluminum flasing closet doors.
And here’s how it looked before:.OK, there are a few changes since this photo in April, but I mainly wanted to draw your attention to the mattress.
We used to have a little cheap one on there, from the time she was about 2, just in case of any “accidents”.Well, she never really had any bed-wetting issues, but 5 years later, we still had that sad little mattress.. We put both a new mattress and a box spring on the bed, thinking the extra box spring would be ridiculous, since this bed isn’t really meant to have one, but it actually ended up looking really great.. It’s super-tall, but didn’t they have super-tall beds back in the day when this house was built?Either that or straw, and we’re probably not going to be going THAT authentic any time soon..
I added a bit to the gallery wall too and I really, really like where it’s going. It probably only needs a few more gold frames and I can call it done-ish..
So what do you think?
Do you like the super-tall bed look or do you like to keep things lower and easier to get into?.I mean, they look pretty great right now, but they’ve been driving me just a little crazy for the last 4 years.
I’ve been wanting to take the carpet right off of them, but that’s a pretty big job and we just haven’t gotten to it yet, so I’ve had to do the best I can to keep them clean in the meantime.Let me tell you though, my best just hasn’t been good enough.
I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had people over and I’ve cringed when I’ve turned on the hall light to see all the pet fur, lint, and miscellaneous junk that seems to collect on them so quickly..I just needed a better way to vacuum stairs.. I’ve always really disliked vacuuming my stairs, even though it really does make my whole house feel cleaner because it always seemed to take forever.
